Description

We’ve used our best Blueberry strains to match Cheese’s impressive taste, and turned them into the ultimate hybrid. After the original crossing, she was back-crossed with Cheese to stabilise and perfect the genetic effects and taste of this strain.

It usually takes Blue Cheese around 60-65 days to complete its flowering period. The sweet, fruity aroma of Cheese begins to develop a few weeks after the start of flowering and continues to intensify as the plant matures. Most plants will reach a height of around 80 – 140 cm. When grown outdoors they can grow slightly larger; by the end of September they are ready for harvest.

Good growers can achieve excellent yields – you can expect an average of 500 to 600 grams per square metre. The only downside of Blue Cheese is that it has a slightly above average leaf-to-flower ratio, which means the plant is a bit more difficult to trim. However, this little extra work pays off, considering the final product. Blue Cheese performs exceptionally well using ‘sea of green’ techniques, hydrocultures and methods based on cultivation on soil.

The taste of this strain is a perfect blend of its parents’ genetics. The sweet, fruity taste of the Blueberry perfectly complements the earthy, musky taste of Cheese. The buds are extremely compact and, if grown well, covered with a thick layer of trichomes. If you are a fan of Cheese then you will certainly want to try our Blue Cheese.
