In Japan, this mushroom has been used for centuries for its supposedly supportive and restorative effects on the mind. It is a truly special sight when you come across it in the woods, hanging on to a tree trunk. What makes Lion’s mane so special? The ericenones and erinacines (alkaloids present in Lion’s mane) stimulate the production of the body’s own substance NGF. NGF stands for nerve growth factor. NGF is necessary for the growth of certain neurons in our brains. It also plays a role in myelination. A process that ensures signal transmission through the nerves.

The Foodsporen® Lion’s mane capsules are, like all our products, made from the fruiting bodies of this special mushroom. We do not use the mycelium which is grown on grain. This way we can offer you an honest, powerful and pure product. Exactly what you deserve, we think! In addition, all our extracts, including the Foodsporen® Lion’s mane capsules, are standardized at no less than 30% polysaccharides!

The container in which you will receive your capsules is made of high-quality MIRON® Violetglass and is completely reusable. MIRON glass protects the product against harmful UV radiation, so the nutrients in the capsules remain optimally protected and the shelf life is considerably improved! The jar is also dishwasher safe!
